Harrison North is a West End firm of chartered certified accountants and business advisers. We were established in 1994 and have spent more than thirty years doing what we believe larger firms rarely manage: getting close enough to a client’s business to make a genuine difference.
We are a small firm by design. Our clients are sole traders, owner-directors, and growing private companies — businesses where the finances are personal, the decisions are consequential, and the relationship with an adviser matters. We work with them across the full lifecycle of their business, from the earliest stages of incorporation and tax planning through to restructuring, acquisitions, succession, and eventual exit.
Everything we do is handled in-house, by experienced people. We do not outsource work, we do not rotate staff off client accounts, and we do not hand relationships to junior team members. The partners are involved throughout — and the proportion of partner and senior manager time we commit to client work is significantly higher than the industry standard.
That consistency has a practical value. When the same people work on your affairs year after year, they understand your business, your history, and your objectives. Advice is better. Problems are spotted earlier. Opportunities are not missed.
Our approach
We take a proactive stance on tax. Your position is kept under review as an ongoing matter — not just at year-end — and we will raise opportunities and risks as they emerge, whichever service we are providing at the time.
We are also straight-talking. Our advice is practical and commercially grounded. We are not interested in complexity for its own sake, and we do not believe that good professional advice should be difficult to understand.
Our charge-out rates are competitive for a West End firm. For recurring engagements we offer a fixed monthly fee, which many clients find preferable to annual billing.
Where we are based
Our offices are at Adam House, 7-10 Adam Street, London, WC2N 6AA — a short walk from Embankment and Charing Cross stations. We have been based in the West End throughout our history, and we remain committed to it.
